About Me
For 16 years I've worked to define what it means to lead with purpose. As the founder of Maples Academy of Dance and a celebrated figure among Winnipeg’s leading women entrepreneurs, I have successfully transformed a passion for movement into a multi-decade legacy of leadership and community impact.
I specialize in helping individuals identify their unique brand of excellence, or as I like to call it, "Sparkle" to help them elevate themselves on and off the stage.
In my upcoming book, Starting in First (2026), I've bridged the gap between the discipline of being an elite athlete and performer with the strategic mindset for excellence. By weaving together the rigor of performance with the realities of business and life, I provide provides audiences with actionable insights on high-performance culture and elevating themselves to succeed by doing what they love with passion and authenticity.
Whether I'm mentoring the next generation of artists or advising fellow business leaders, my focus and strategies are designed to equip you with the tools to navigate life's complexities and lead with authenticity and passion for what you do.
It's my honor to work with performers, teams, business owners, and community leaders alike in my role as a teacher, dance adjudicator, workshop facilitator, speaker, and author. Regardless of age or role, my approach to working with people rests on my five core values:
Excellence
I believe that the pursuit of greatness should be as rewarding as the achievement itself. Whether on stage or in the boardroom, we all deserve to lead with a spirit of joy that makes hard work feel like a celebration.
Growth
Development doesn’t stop at the studio door. I am dedicated to nurturing the whole individual—building resilience, character, and confidence that translate from the stage into every area of life.
Encouragement
Everyone has a unique sparkle. My mission is to be the catalyst that helps it shine. I aim to foster an environment where everyone I connect with feels seen, supported, and empowered to take bold leaps.
Integrity
I lead by example. From fair adjudication to honest consulting, my work is rooted in transparency, professionalism, and a deep respect for art and business alike.
Connection
I don’t just teach steps; I build bridges. Through workshops, speaking, and mentorship, I aim to create meaningful connections that spark lasting change in individuals and organizations.
Building communities and transforming lives through.
